Karen Marie Lomas: My designs are inspired by nature, especially flowers and butterflies. I like to work in various kinds of media using different types of fabric and paper. I like to explore different techniques in my designs like hand and machine embroidery combined with appliqué and collage. I like to try and use a wide range of media: Acrylic's, Watercolour's, Pencil, Charcoal, pastels, oil pastels,and inks. I also like photography,my main subjects are flowers, insects and architecture. I have just compleated a Foundation Degree in Contemporary Art Practice.
